Instagram, being one of the most widely used social media platforms in the world, is constantly taking significant steps to improve user experience. Today, a new feature has emerged that specifically interests iOS users. According to the news, Instagram is testing the Live Events feature. Here are the details!
It will be possible to see Instagram progress in the background
Many iOS applications nowadays incorporate Live Events with the release of iOS 16 last year. With this feature, applications display useful information from the Lock Screen or Dynamic Widgets on iPhone 14 Pro. This feature now applies to Instagram as well.
Instagram, one of the significant platforms of Meta, will make it easier to track processes with its new feature. With the Instagram Live Events feature, users will be able to see the upload progress in the background even after closing the application.
Additionally, when you upload a new photo or video to the platform and close the application, Live Events appear. This way, you will be able to track the progress of the upload without needing to reopen the Instagram app.
The Live Events feature works both on the Lock Screen and in Dynamic Widgets. Users have the opportunity to see a small preview of the upload progress along with the content being uploaded. However, this feature is currently available to only a few users.
However, Instagram has not officially announced support for the Live Events feature yet. Therefore, it is believed that the company is testing the feature before making an official announcement. Additionally, to have access to this feature beforehand, it is necessary to keep the application updated.
